We work with the Timbaktu Collective's community led conservation efforts in the KCCA. This 9000 acres savannah grassland has been restored and protected through the Timbaktu Collective’s’s ecology program for almost thirty years. Adavi provides technical support as well as training in data collection, research methodologies, capacity and awareness building for the KCCA members. This project keeps the interests of community stakeholders central and facilitates co-management, research and market based tools such as the establishment of the Kalpavalli Bush Camp to further community led conservation efforts.
